I just checked out a book from the library that referenced your webpage (A Family Affair, How to Plan and Direct the Best Family Reunion Ever, pg 101). My first step is to set up a LeBaron Family webpage for our 2007 Reunion. Yours is great! Wish me luck!

My father William Armer (William seems to be a popular name with the Armers) and my grandfather - John were born in Cockeram near Lancaster. During a recent visit to the churchyard there I counted 9 Armer graves there (could be more). There are still many Armer living in the area. I have done a brief search in Preston County archives and the earliest reference to Armer was in 1770.Before that date - nothing! Has anyone out there any more information?

Hello,
I really enjoyed visiting your family site. I have done a great deal of work on the Perdue family history and have several Armer\'s in my own family tree. I whish there were more old pictures around. I have to do some work on my family page. Once it is done I will send the URL. Thanks again,
Randall Perdue
