I claim to be a part of the Herman Armer clan. They adopted me when Traci and I became friends in the 5th Grade. The website looks great!!

My wife is an Armer. We have not been able to find much of anything on her family. Her father\'s name was Howard Joseph Armer. He married Dorothy Emaline Pennington (b.1912,d.1994))an had 3 children: Dorothy L.(my wife),Kellis Jo,(d.1995) and Howard Henry(currently of Okla City, OK). They (Howard & Dorothy)divorced when the children were quite young. Howard Joseph Armer\'s mother was Maude Coe of Dallas, TX (dec.) She died at age 46, in Dallas (I\'m guessing this would have been in the 1940s) We believe that Howard Joseph Armer died in a veteran\'s hospital, not sure if TX, OK or AR, and this probably was in late 1940s or early 1950s.

We would appreciate any info.

BTW, your web site is great. Really enjoyed poking around in it.

Although I live in California, I am part of the Arizona Armer family. We can trace our history to Henry Armer (b. about 1817). He was from Ireland or Scotland and came with several brothers and possibly his father. They seemed to split up. Do any other Armers have a similar story that might provide a link?
