My brother Paul found this site. I always thought there weren\'t many Armers , certainly not in England . Now I know why .A lot of Armers must have emigrated to the States at the end of the 19 th Century . My Uncle, Frank Armer checked our geneology and our surname seems to originate from the Cumberland /Scottish borders ...close to where I live. We Armers even have our own coat of arms and Latin motto. So I guess I have a bigger family than I thought.

Hello, Enjoyed your site! My great-grandfater was Leven Edward Armer born Feb. 1860 from Louisville,Kentucky. He was married to Margret McEvoy Reid. They lived in New Mexico and raised Angora goats. My grandmother (Mary Armer Earwood)knew very little about her father\'s family. I live and work on the Earwood Ranch where we also raise Angora goats for their beautiful natural fiber called Mohair. Any related family information would be greatly appreciated.
